(that’s zziggy with a double z)
Pole dance revolves around dance and acrobatics around a vertical pole. It has gained popularity throughout recent years and has become a form of performing art and exercise with formal instruction, certifications, and competitions.
zziggy.com has pole dance studio listings for all provinces in Canada. And we’re slowly expanding our listings throughout the USA.
If you’re an owner or instructor, please add or update your listing and help build a comprehensive directory. Click on the “Add Listing” at the bottom right hand corner. Leave the category blank if you don’t see your city, or even country, and if you like, send me a note, and I’ll update your listing.
If you already see your listing, you can claim it. Just register and after logging in, click on directory at the top of your screen. You’ll be able to add more information such as social media accounts, pictures, and other information. If there is more information you need to add, please send me a note and I’ll see if I can add the field.
The listings are for owners who have a physical location. If you’re a budding instructor with no studio and want to get yourself known (without putting your personal address), you can register and create a listing profile, where you can add information about yourself and talk about your schedule, teaching philosophy, or specialty. Visitors who visit this site may be looking for private instruction and not necessarily a studio or class setting. If they see your profile, they may contact you to arrange a class or private lesson. You’ll have to add a location and I suggest adding just your city and province.
I’m not a pole dancer whatsoever. I am an IT Consultant and dabble in websites and SEO. I saw a need for more information in this area and started this website. Right now, I’m just building the directory. I’m also going to add clothing and sports wear related to this area. And possibly a profile section for freelance pole instructors.
Eventually, I hope to keep it going and make it a go-to resource for pole enthusiasts. Maybe my 16 month old daughter will be interested in taking this over one day!
